AFE Systems

AFE systems have been developed to increase efficiency in electronic speed variator systems. The trend is to obtain complete very high-efficiency systems that exceed 98% in terms of power transfer and the lowest possible losses.

The scope of being able to have a shared DC BUS where there is flexibility to simultaneously power Inverter units gives the ideal flexibility to grow and maintain a very high efficiency of the entire Drive System. AFE , NFE , INVERTERS , BRAKE CHOPPERS, Generic Inverters with Vodc connection can be powered and shared in a common AFE system.

As can be seen in the graph, the DRIVE SYSTEM is Bidirectional in Power flow from the Network to the INUs and from the INUS to the NETWORK.
The operation of the Drive system guarantees the lowest harmonic content (<5% THD) towards the electrical network.
